There is an exhibit of funny art in downtown Spokane this month. The exhibit features paintings of foxes on mopeds, rocking horse goats and chairs, and fantastical machines. The exhibit is in the Chase Gallery, which is in the same building as City Hall, 808 W. Spokane Falls Blvd. This is a short walk from the STA plaza, and right behind the River Park Square Mall. The exhibit is open Monday-Friday from 8AM to 5PM and is on display until August 26th.
This weekend there are a few events going on in Riverfront Park, which is right downtown and only two blocks from the bus plaza.
On Saturday from 12PM to 4PM, there is a Corvette show in the park. Over 100 Corvettes will be shown.
On Sunday from 4PM to 10PM, there is a classical music concert in the park. There are also fireworks to go along with the music.

When: August 5th, We will leave SCC at 10:00 on bus 29. We will arrive downtown and transfer to bus 60. We will arrive to the museum at 10:45. After we visit the museum we will go back to the downtown plaza and you are free to go home, shopping or have lunch with your friends.

Why: Leonardo was a great inventor. We will be able to view some amazing inventions created by a complete genius. There are guides who will give information about da Vinci so this will be a great way to practice your listening skills. If we have time, we will also visit a very famous and historical house in Spokane on a guided tour. This is always a fun place for international students to visit.
How Much: Bring your student ID. If you have a student ID the price is $10. If you don’t have an ID your price is $20.
