Spokane offers two table tennis clubs, one on the South hill and one in the historic West Central neighborhood. For affordable prices you can get exercise, have fun, and meet fellow table-tennis enthusiasts- a great way to practice English, make friends and explore our community!
The good news is that you still have a chance to catch the Spokane Chiefs in some nail-biting, adrenaline pumping, hockey action this year. There are just five more matches this year, set for March 8, 10, 11, 15 and 18, and the puck drops at 7:05 pm. Justin, our Director of Student Services went last weekend and says “This is a must-do event in Spokane. If you have not been to a match yet, go while you can! It is an experience to remember!”
SCEL Presents will feature Greg Youmans, a native of Boise, ID, a graduate of the University of Texas, who trained in orchestral playing and developed interest in other styles. He is currently a member of Spokane and Yakima Symphonies and performer of a one-man band.

Bryan Witte is a graduate student studying Fisheries Management at Eastern Washington University. SCEL Presents will feature his presentation “Fishes of Eastern Washington: Description and Ecology.” This talk will focus on the types of fish present in Eastern Washington (both native and nonnative species) as well as how these fish make a living in our waterways.
