There has been some interest in going to Seattle, so there will be a SCEL Seattle trip meeting today in room 3.

The service club is helping clean up the Spokane River!
On June 1st, there will be an event to help clean the Spokane River at Riverside State Park. If you are interested, please talk to your teachers or Mr. Josh.

On May 31st, SCEL will have a picnic potluck in Riverfront Park. What is a potluck? It is when everyone brings some food to share, so we have a lot of different kinds of food to try.

Spokane is a great place if you like the outdoors. There are many places to enjoy nature, and they are very close too.
On Thursday, we are going to Dishman Hills for a great day of hiking. If you want to go, please meet after school on Thursday.

The SCEL Running Club will have their first meeting Wednesday, May 22nd.
This is a club for everyone! Runners, joggers, walkers, strollers, and families are all welcome to join.

Last Friday, we went to the Northwest Museum of Art and Culture and learned about Spokane’s history, Native American culture, and modernist art. It was a great trip.

Come and experience Spokane’s Museum of Art and Culture. After school today, we will be going to the museum and will meet in the SCEL Lounge at 12pm. We will talk about how to get to the museum and what time we will meet up.
