For $10 per movie, you can see films from all over the world. They are playing at several different movie theaters in downtown Spokane such as The Magic Lantern, The Bing Crosby Theater, and The AMC Movie Theater.

For those that want to go to First Night Spokane this Saturday, the bookstore in the Lair is selling them for only $10. That is $5 off! If you are interesting, just go to the bookstore during break and show them your SCC school ID. There is only a limited amount of buttons, so buy them as soon as possible.
Next Tuesday the 27th, we will be having a movie night at the Riverfront Park IMAX Theatre. The movie is REAL STEEL, an exciting adventure about boxing……with giant robots 🙂 The cost is only $5.50 and starts at 7:30PM. What a deal!!!!
What is IMAX? According to Wikipedia, “IMAX, which stands for Image Maximum, is a motion picture format with the capacity for greater size and clearer resolution than standard movie systems.” The screen is several time larger than a normal movie and the sound system is better as well. It should be a fantastic experience (especially if you love boxing robots).
If you are interested in going, talk to Adam. There will be a meeting afterschool on Tuesday to discuss where we will meet and the possibility of getting dinner before the movie starts.
If you love good times, fun movies, and GIANT ROBOTS, please come on out.
See you there!
