This year’s Canstruction Spokane raised funds to provide almost 16,000 meals to help families in need in our area!  Donations were raised through votes for the People’s Choice Award, which went to Knock Out Hunger (NAC ArchitectureDCI Engineers, Garco Construction, MSI Engineers). Great job to both teams for your creative designs. Thank you to all who voted and donated!

Maidan Square Uprising Students – Smrt Scholarship Program

15 students who participated in the Maidan Square uprising received scholarships to attend an 8 week English course at the Canadian College of English Language summer 2014. Developed in conjunction with OWL Vancouver the program enabled the students to regain their strength, re evaluate their vision and to return to the Ukraine with skills and perspective that would strengthen their ability to achieve their goals and succeed in future study programs and careers.
