Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering your time at Second Harvest. Our warehouse is an industrial food handling facility, so we must take important steps to keep everyone safe. Therefore, we require ALL volunteers to:

•Be at least 14 years old.
•Dress appropriately and with CLOSED-TOED SHOES ONLY.
•Sign in and wear “Volunteer” badges.
•Be ambulatory or otherwise mobile for warehouse activities.
•Be able to lift 20 to 25 pounds for food drives and warehouse activities.

The Fasting Month

Ramadan is the fasting month where our Muslim students fast from the sunrise to sunset for 30 days. Throughout this month our students will pray ,feed poor people ,and have more social gathering. After these 30 days, they will celebrate the ending of Ramadan for three consecutive days.  CCEL and SCEL  wish them all the best and will support them throughout. Ramadan Mubarak everyone.
